Israeli attacks in South Gaza, people suffering from cold and hunger

A woman trapped in the war in Gaza said that we eat food once a day. Milk is not even available for children.

After the end of the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, the Israeli Army has intensified the ground operation on South Gaza (Israel Hamas War Updates). The Israeli Air Force (IAF) carried out more than 250 strikes in the Gaza Strip on 5 December. According to the Hamas-run health ministry, 73 people were killed and 123 injured in central Gaza in the past 24 hours.

According to BBC report, the Israeli Army is continuously attacking Khan Yunis and Rafah, the largest city of southern Gaza. Officials believe that some Hamas leaders are hiding in Khan Yunis. Israeli forces are busy besieging Jabaliya and Gaza City, Zaytoun, Shejaiya, Al-Draj and Al-Tafa. Jabaliya Refugee Camp in northern Gaza was also attacked.

The ongoing war between Israel and Hamas has reached its most important and difficult stage as Israeli tanks are approaching the three most important strongholds of Hamas (Khan Younis, Jabaliya and Shujaiya). Many believe that Hamas has greater military strength there and will be more capable of countering Israeli troops here.

Humanitarian crisis increases in Gaza

The humanitarian crisis in Gaza has increased further. Most basic items are not available. People living in these areas are not even getting clean drinking water.

What Neven Hassan, a mother of five children told in a BBC conversation, is describing the pathetic condition of Palestine.

Neven Hassan told…

“We eat one meal a day, that too a small piece of bread and beans… I cannot get milk for my six-month-old baby, all my daughters and my son are sick, they drink dirty water. Let’s drink. “We don’t even have blankets in this cold weather.”

Neven told that most of the people are living in tents. The cold is increasing and most people do not have winter clothes. In such a situation it is becoming difficult for them to live.

The Social Bloger hopes that this war ends as soon as possible and there is peace between the two countries.
