Isrial blames to USA for support Hamas
According to
the United Nations, 1.87 million people have been forced to flee their
homes since the beginning of the Israel-Hamas war. This number is more than 80
percent of Gaza’s population. As the war escalates, Israel’s increased air and
ground offensive in southern Gaza has displaced thousands of Palestinians.
Israel has alleged that the United Nations has failed to condemn Hamas
terrorists for their attack.
It has been two months
since the Israel-Hamas war and the war is still going on. Israel has
been continuously bombing Gaza since Hamas attacked Israel on October 7.
For this reason the United Nations is calling it a major humanitarian
crisis. Amidst such comments regarding the war, Israel has alleged that
the United Nations is supporting Hamas.
According to the Times of Israel
report, Israel’s Foreign Minister Eli Cohen has accused UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres of supporting the Hamas terrorist group and demanded his resignation. Cohen also said that Guterres’ tenure was a threat to world peace. His reaction came after the UN chief used a rare clause in the UN Charter to urge an immediate ceasefire in the war and the intervention of the Security Council. Cohen said Guterres’ call for a ceasefire in the two-month war in Gaza is support for the Palestinian terrorist organization and its support of the killing of elders, kidnapping of children and rape of women.
Guterres has repeatedly called for a ceasefire. He wrote to the 15-member Security Council under Article 99 of the UN Charter for the first time after assuming leadership of the UN in 2017. This is the first time since 1989 that a Secretary General has used it.
Here, the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has announced that the Security Cabinet has decided to increase the daily amount of fuel allowed in the Gaza Strip. The security cabinet was reportedly convened following US pressure, with Washington demanding that daily deliveries of fuel be doubled or tripled to 60,000 liters.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has warned Israel of dire consequences if the country goes ahead with threats to attack Hamas officials on Turkish soil. Ardavan also said his country has petitioned the International Criminal Court to try Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other officials for alleged war crimes in Gaza.
The October 7 attack killed 1,400 people in Israel. The health ministry in Hamas-run Gaza said more than 16,000 Palestinians have been killed since the Israel-Hamas war began two months ago. More than 42,000 have been injured. It said the dead included more than 6,000 children and more than 4,000 women.
In a statement, the ministry also said the data showed a sharp increase in deaths since a week-long ceasefire between Israel and Hamas broke down on December 1. It said more than 1,000 Palestinians had been killed since fighting resumed on Friday.
